How this platform works, in short answers. If what you need is not here, write to us at the bottom of this page.
Getting started
Creating an account
You need a phone number or an email address. A code is sent to confirm it is yours, then you choose a username and a brand name. Open
Signing in
Use the username or number you registered with. A new device may be asked for a code the first time. Open
Lost access to your account
Start recovery with the number or email on the account. If you no longer have either, write to us and say which username it is. Open
What this platform is for
A place to write, sell and talk that keeps to halal rules everywhere: no music, no indecency, in posts, videos, market listings and chat alike.
Writing and posting
Writing a post
Open the composer at the top of the feed. Choose one of the eight categories so people who care about that subject can find it. Open
The eight categories
Every post carries one. It decides who is shown it, and it is the main way somebody finds what interests them rather than everything at once.
Who sees your post
You choose per post: everyone, your subscribers, your friends, or only you. Your usual choice can be set once in settings.
Posting a video
Add it in the composer like a picture. Videos may be checked before they appear, which can take a little time. Open
Changing or removing a post
Open your own posts. Editing keeps the history, and removing takes it from everybody immediately. Open
Why a post has not appeared
It may be waiting to be checked. The outbox shows anything held and tells you why. Open
People and messages
Subscribing and friending are different
Subscribing is one-way and unlimited: you follow what somebody writes. A friendship is mutual and limited, so friends stay people you actually know. Open
Why there is a friend limit
So a friend list stays a friend list. The limit rises as you take part -- your standing page shows how far along you are. Open
Finding people you know
Contact matching turns numbers into one-way codes and shows only people who also chose to be findable. Your numbers are never stored. Open
Messages
Anyone you allow can write to you. A message from a shop opens a session that lasts twelve hours, so a conversation does not stay open for ever. Open
Inviting somebody you know
Your invite page has a code to give them. They enter it on the last step of registration. There is no reward attached — it is so you can find each other. Open
Selling
Selling something
Post it as a sale post with up to three buttons -- call, message, order. It appears in the market to people near you first. Open
The twelve-hour business session
A buyer and a seller get twelve hours from the first message. It keeps a shop from being able to write to somebody indefinitely.
Safety and rules
What is not allowed
Music, indecency, deceiving buyers, harassing people, and impersonating somebody. These apply everywhere on the platform, not only in posts. Open
Reporting something
Use report on the post or message itself. A person reads every report, and you can see what happened to yours. Open
Appealing a decision
Every decision against you can be appealed, and somebody who did not make the original decision reads it. Open
Blocking somebody
They can no longer write to you or see what you post. You can undo it at any time. Open
Your account
What is kept about you
The privacy page lists every category, how it is stored, and for how long -- with the real place it is stored named beside it. Open
Downloading your data, or closing your account
Both are on your notifications page. Closing pauses for seven days first, so a change of mind costs nothing. Open
Keeping your account safe
Add a second step in security settings. You can see every device signed in and remove any of them. Open
Changing the language
The language control is in the top bar on every page. It changes everything, not just this page.
Still stuck? Tell us
This goes to the people running the platform. It is not a report about somebody -- for that, use report on the post itself.
